About Castle Compliance
We built Castle Compliance because we were tired of watching the industry we love turn into a corporate circus.
Every test lab used to be a place where engineers got their hands dirty, problems were solved fast, and people cared about the outcome. Now? Most of them have been swallowed by corporate entities and private equity firms who’ve turned once-nimble operations into slow-moving bureaucracies. The result: higher prices, longer waits, more paperwork, and less personal attention. Customers have become ticket numbers. Engineers have become button-pushers. And the spirit of real problem solving has been replaced with “please hold, your business is important to us.”
At Castle Compliance, we’re doing things differently. We believe testing should be fast, flexible, transparent, and human. When you call us, you get someone who knows your project—not a phone tree or a generic inbox. When you need something urgently, we figure it out instead of quoting policy manuals. And when something’s broken, we fix it ourselves.
We’re also not outsourcing the soul of our business. American service industries have been hollowed out by shipping off engineering, accounting, and even customer service overseas—all in the name of “efficiency.” Meanwhile, our global competitors are streamlining and deregulating, making it easier than ever to innovate. We think it’s time the U.S. fights back the right way: by being smarter, faster, and more friction-free.
So yes, we support testing to MIL-STD, FCC, CE, and all the acronyms that matter—but more importantly, we get shit done. We cut through the noise so innovators can innovate, builders can build, and manufacturers can bring great products to market without losing weeks to red tape and slow replies.
We’re not a corporate lab. We’re engineers, builders, and problem-solvers who still believe in craftsmanship, accountability, and the thrill of making things work.
Welcome to Castle Compliance.
We’re here to help you get it done—faster, smarter, and without the corporate nonsense.

He is highly versed in ISO/IEC 17025 quality principles and has developed efficient quoting and scheduling systems that improve throughput and client satisfaction.
Driven by a passion for innovation and precision, Tony finds fulfillment in helping engineers and manufacturers bring new products to market with confidence. His approach balances engineering rigor with practical execution—delivering results that meet the highest technical and quality standards.
Outside the lab, Tony enjoys hands-on projects, creative design, and building practical systems—mechanical, electrical, or entrepreneurial. He values integrity, craftsmanship, and collaboration, principles that guide both his work and life.
Bob Turner – Managing Member / President

Bob Turner is the Managing Member and President of Castle Compliance, bringing nearly two decades of engineering, testing, and business leadership experience to the company.
Before co-founding Castle Compliance, Bob spent a decade at Keystone Compliance, where he managed and grew the environmental simulation laboratory into one of the most capable and versatile facilities in the industry. As Lab Manager, he led the expansion of three new testing facilities, achieved sustained annual growth, and developed industry-leading capabilities in ingress protection, package transportation simulation, and thermal and sterile barrier testing. His leadership directly contributed to the creation of Keystone Package Testing, a successful subsidiary focused on packaging performance and validation.
Earlier in his career, Bob served as a senior mechanical engineer at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. (BPMI), supporting the U.S. Navy’s nuclear propulsion program. There, he provided engineering support and program management for nuclear reactor plant equipment used in submarines, aircraft carriers, and land-based prototypes—ensuring quality, reliability, and mission readiness.
Bob’s technical expertise spans a wide range of disciplines, including dynamic testing (e.g., vibration, shock, acceleration) and climatic testing (e.g., thermal, humidity, altitude, rapid decompression, corrosion, fungus resistance, chemical resistance, wind, rain, ice, gravel bombardment, etc.); HALT; hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing; ingress protection; cryogenics; reliability and transportation simulation. He has extensive experience with global standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-202, MIL-STD-883, RTCA/DO-160G, and numerous IEC, EN, ISO, ANSI, and ASTM standards. Bob has extensive experience with nearly every industry including military/aerospace, automotive, rail, robotics, UAV, medical, industrial, consumer electronics, and materials. He is also deeply experienced in ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, custom test system design, facility build-outs, and operational leadership.
Known for his relentless drive, Bob thrives on solving complex engineering challenges and pushing boundaries. His vision for Castle Compliance is to merge decades of proven testing expertise with emerging technologies — creating a more transparent, efficient, and client-focused compliance testing ecosystem.
Outside of the lab, Bob devotes much of his time to his family and coaching his children’s sports teams. He’s an avid weightlifter, runner, and outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, golfing, fishing, and hunting. Bob also enjoys hands-on projects and staying up to speed on the latest technologies.
